Recovery takes days. Strength has stalled. That is not just age and it is not a discipline problem. I work out what is most likely behind it before I write you a single session.

The Problem
Your weight has not moved much. Your bloods came back “normal”. On paper there is nothing to fix. And yet you are sore for three days after a session that used to cost you nothing, you are flat by mid-afternoon, and the drive that used to get you into the gym has gone quiet.
The standard answer is to push harder or clean up the diet. You have already done both. It did not work, because the problem was never effort.
Your body may be carrying more than it can recover from on its own. Years of short sleep. Stress that never switches off. More training than your recovery can pay for. And the slow changes that come with age, which many men feel first in their recovery and their muscle.
None of that is an excuse. It is usually the real reason, and most coaching never goes looking for it.
I am.
What I Check For
Two men can come to me with the same stalled progress, the same gut and the same flat energy, and need opposite plans. Guessing which one you are is how people lose years. So I do not guess. Here is what I look for.
Stress
You have been under load for years and you never really get to switch off. Fat sits around your middle no matter how you train. Wired at 11pm, awake at 3am, flat by 9am. Training harder usually makes this one harder, not easier.
Food and energy
Heavy and foggy after meals. Flat at 3pm and hunting something sweet. Hungry again an hour after eating. What usually helps here is changing what you eat and when, not eating less of it.
Recovery and drive
Sore for days, strength going nowhere, no drive to train, often with more weight around the middle, all while doing exactly what you did before. This one usually needs less training and better support, not more work. If you notice a lower sex drive or trouble with erections, a GP blood test is the way to check.
You can have more than one of these at the same time, and they often feed each other. That is why I look before I prescribe.
The Solution
Coaching with me starts with a proper look at what your body is actually doing right now, not a goal-setting session. A detailed intake, your measurements and photos, and your blood work. Every training and nutrition decision I make comes after that, not before.

I spent years competing in classic bodybuilding, nationally and internationally. I knew how to train, how to eat, and how to shape my body with precision.
Then a few years ago, everything changed at once. A relationship ended, and stepping away from it also meant stepping away from my business. My rhythm collapsed. I held fat in places my body had never held it, and the harder I pushed, the worse things got.
What took me far too long to learn: my body wasn't the problem. What I was doing to it was.
Everything I had been trained to do was making it worse, not better. Body Recode™ exists because of that. I couldn't find anything that could work out what was actually happening in my body, so I built it: a system that reads your biology before anything is prescribed. It's the same system I now coach every client with.
The first one on this page, never really switching off, that was me. I am not describing something I read about.
The system is used by other coaches and clinicians now. Here, you work directly with the person who built it. See the system →

Who It's For
You are not starting from zero. You know how to train and you know how to be consistent. That is the point: you are doing the work and it has stopped paying you back.
Long days, decisions all day, sleep the first thing sacrificed. You still train, and your body holds fat around the middle anyway.
Same program that built you. Now three days of soreness, flat strength, and a session you have to talk yourself into.
Weight steady, bloods in range, nothing officially wrong. Energy, recovery and drive have all slid and nobody can tell you why.
Stopped training altogether? Plenty of men come to me after months of doing nothing, because when the work stops paying you back, stopping is the only thing left that makes sense. Everyone starts with the same assessment, so you begin in the right place instead of guessing for months.
The common thread is not your age or how long it has been going on. It is a body that has changed, and finding out what is most likely behind it before anything gets prescribed.
A Straight Answer
Most of my clients are women in their forties, so most of my public writing talks to them and to the stage of life they are going through. That is on purpose. It is who most of my audience actually is.
The system underneath is not built for one sex. It looks at your sleep, your stress, how you eat, how hard you train, how well you recover, and your blood work if you have it. Sleep, stress and food affect men and women in much the same way, and I look at them the same way in both.
The part that differs is what changes with age. For women it is the change around menopause. For men it is more often drive and recovery slipping. I never apply the women's side of it to a man, and I never hand a man a plan built around it.
So you get the same depth of assessment and a plan built for your body. Not a women's plan with the words changed.
If you would rather just talk it through, book the call. Thirty minutes, free, no pitch. You leave knowing what to do first whether you work with me or not.

“I'd been training five days a week for two years with nothing to show for it. Within six weeks of the intake, my body started responding in ways it hadn't in years. I wasn't doing more. I was finally doing the right things for what my body was actually doing.”

“I came in thinking I needed a harder program. What I actually needed was for someone to read what was going on before prescribing anything. The difference was immediate. Recovery improved first, then everything else followed.”
