I spent years competing in classic bodybuilding, nationally and internationally. I knew how to train. I knew how to eat. I knew how to shape my body with precision.
Then a few years ago, everything changed at once. A relationship ended. A business closed. My rhythm collapsed. I held fat in places my body had never held it. And the harder I pushed, the worse things got.
What I had to learn, which took far longer than it should have, is that my body was not broken. It was signalling. And everything I had been trained to do was making it worse, not better.
